I live in La Quinta, California but I have clients from all over. I am a graduate of Parsons School of Design. I have a background in Corporate Management prior to that. I don’t have one set style of design or aesthetic that I work within. I enjoy designing for individuals and their needs vs. copying one design over and over for all of my clients.
I am happy to take on projects of different sizes and scopes. I don’t have a project minimum, nor do I require that you’ve worked with a designer before. I love helping people get their homes functional and beautiful.
I offer a white glove service to clients wherein I manage all aspects of the project. This includes sourcing, purchasing, receiving, installing, etc. For those that don’t need full service, I also offer the same high end design services where maybe I’m just helping pick out and source fabrics or wallpaper or giving advice on size of furniture that works, etc.
I like to meet my clients initially for a consultation virtually or in person. This is where I get to ask lots of questions and try to get to know your needs and how I can help you achieve your ultimate goals. It’s a chance for me to get to know you, your likes and dislikes. You won’t always know the answers to my questions or have a strong feeling about something and that’s okay. This is meant to be a chance for us to get acquainted so I can know what your needs are, and you can meet me to see if I’m a good fit for your project.
Please note that this is not usually a conversation wherein I have a bunch of design ideas for you. This is a meet and greet for us both to get acquainted with each other. I don’t have a set style that I recommend to every one of my clients. I prefer an individual approach where I give each client the attention to detail that they deserve so that their home is a reflection of who they are and how they live. The discussions about design schemes aren’t too far off however.
Once we have agreed to the scope of the project and the contract has been signed, I meet with you again where I give you a small presentation of the design scheme that I’m considering for your project. This is meant to be a glimpse just to make sure that I’m on the right page and I’m going in the direction that makes you happy. I also have you look at fabrics so I can get an idea for what you are drawn to in terms of colors, textures, patterns.
Once we come together in terms of my initial thoughts, I’m off and running and our next meeting I will present you with the entire design scheme.
